How can I get information
regarding Special Orders and Quotations?
Volume Pricing is our specialty. To request a quotation, please call or e-mail
us, and receive a prompt reply with our pricing and shipping information. Quotes
are valid for 10 days, unless otherwise indicated.
What are your shipping policies?
Orders for in-stock items placed by 11:30 a.m. CST are usually shipped the
same day. When possible, orders are shipped UPS unless you instruct us otherwise.
Oversized or heavy items are shipped via motor freight. High shipping volume
enables us to command discounts and can result in reduced freight rates for
you.
What are the Credit/Payment terms?
Standard terms are net 15 days to open accounts with approved credit. We also
accept Visa and MasterCard. Certain restrictions apply. Interest of 1.5%
per month will be charged on past due accounts. A $25 handling fee will be
charged for returned checks. A 15% restocking charge is applied to all returned
items.
What is the minimum on the orders that
I have to meet?
Minimum order is $100. A $10 handling charge will be added to orders under
$100.
Who do you deliver to, and what are the
freight costs?
We offer nationwide delivery. Freight terms are F.O.B. our dock, Dallas, TX,
or F.O.B. manufacturer.
What should I do if my merchandise is
delivered damaged?
Despite our best efforts, items may occasionally be damaged or lost in transit.
Freight carriers are liable for damages only when damage is indicated on the
bill of lading before you sign for the shipment. Therefore, we recommend that
you inspect the contents of all cartons received. If damage is found, write
details on the bill of lading and save the shipment. Per ICC regulations, it
is the responsibility of the consignee to file a damage claim with the carrier.

How do I make a return on purchased goods?
Most items may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Please call or fax your
Account Representative to receive a Return Authorization Number and shipping
instructions prior to return. Shipping charges should be prepaid unless otherwise
arranged in advance. No returns will be accepted without an RA Number. Special
orders or custom made items are not returnable.
What are the liabilities and limitations
of the warranty?
Having no control over the use of the products in this catalog, we assume no
liability connected with their use. Under no circumstances are we liable for
any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind arising out of the use or inability
to use our products. Suggested applications and sizes shown are presented for
your initial guidance and selection. However, suitability for use must be determined
by you in your specific applications. American Moving Supplies, Inc. makes
no warranty of any kind, whatsoever, express or implied, unless expressly set
forth in a quotation, and all implied warranties for a particular purpose are
hereby disclaimed by seller and excluded from any contract. Statistical information
contained in literature is derived from other sources, and we do not assume
responsibility for the precise accuracy of such information.
